Home Sweet Home

Our home will be ready the beginning of March and we are getting very excited! Although I am very excited for this new chapter and a new home, I do find myself kind of sad to leave our cute little white farm house. It has brought us some great memories. People keep asking me if I think it is weird that I am going to be living in the home I grew up in and I really don't feel that way. I have so many wonderful memories and I can't wait to share those memories and make so many more new ones with my family. Something that is kind of neat is that Tanner and I had our first kiss of the front door step  and he asked my dad if he could marry me in the office of this home. I think it is so neat to be surrounded by so many old memories and get to experience my kids growing up in the house and running around the yard that I played in. Here are some pictures of our homes progress...

Hit with the flu

We made it 15 months with our having Breckyn throw up. I know that there will be more nights like the one we just experienced but I hope they are not in the near future. Heather had come down with Grace and Riley. The night she got to mom's Grace started throwing up, so we kept our distance for a few days. Grace and Breckyn played together one day and that night we decided to go visit Rebecca and the kids. When we walked in the door the kids were really excited and there was a lot of screaming and yelling and I didn't realize that was going on at first. I felt something on me and I look at Breckyn(who I was holding) and she was throwing up on me. We hurried and got her in the bath and cleaned up. Oh and PS-she also threw up on Isaac's head...After I got myself clean and picked her up to head out the door she threw up again. And so began our long night. Tanner was helping at a wrestling tournament and the high school so I went back to mom's till her got home.
After we got her out of the bath we just wrapped her in a towel. She had thrown up 5 times at the point and was already eshausted. She pulled the towel over her face :(
We decided to make it a sleep over in the family room. Not a very fun one I might add. We laid down all of our blankets and we had lots of towels ready for any moment.
Throwing up 20 times in 12 hours will really wear you out :( poor thing!
