Memorial Day

Memorial Day has definitely become a lot more dear to my heart the past few years. Breckyn is named after two very special people. I am so grateful we had this day to pause and remember. Aunt Breckyn is in our hearts and thoughts every day.

I have truly been feeling this way lately. There are definitely days when I ask myself over and over again...is nap/bed time. But overall this is the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. Breckyn is such a sweet spirit in our home. She brings so much joy into our lives. I love being a mom. It is the hardest and the most rewarding job all at the same time. I need to stop and remember the joy in it more often than I do.

 



Playing in the Playhouse

We are loving the warmer weather and Breckyn's favorite spot is the playhouse in the backyard. Another good thing about buying your parents house is that there are a few things that they didn't mind leaving behind. I love watching Breckyn play in this house because I have so many memories of playing in it myself.

Pears and Pedicures

I wanted to give it another go at painting Breckyn's toes again. The only way I could get her to stay till and was to keep her occupied in her high chair...while eating a pair...whatever works right :)

We know she doesn't feel good when...

6:00pm and crashed on the floor. Poor girl has a fever. I hate it when she is not feeling well :( I wish there was more I could do to help her. Just cuddles for now.
