DYW Weekend

It is no secret that I am awful at forgetting to take pictures. I did find it funny that out of the DYW weekend I just had this is the only picture that I ended up with from the program :) My mom helped with a dinner for the Friday night Dress Rehearsal and they made the Café Rio pork salads. Apparently they wanted to go along with the theme and wore these sombreros. It was great! Love my mom!

The big 2-6!

I am so mad that I didn't get any pictures of Tanner's birthday! I need to get better! This guy is definitely a trooper. Now not only does his birthday come during planting, and now right before the big, crazy last week of DYW. But my sweet cousin Savannah got married that day so we spend the day up in Idaho Falls. On the plus side he did get to eat at the Olive Garden. Sunday we had some friends out(Logan, Tosha, Marcus and Bridget). I was very proud of myself because I bucked up and made a cake from scratch. I was scared because I ruined the cake I tried to make on Breckyn's birthday but luckily it all worked out. He also got his birthday wish and I gave him and got him some Lebron James basketball shoes (boys and their toys)! I am so grateful for Tanner. I am so thankful that my Heavenly Father blessed me with such a hardworking, loving and understanding eternal companion. I wouldn't trade him for anything!! Happy Birthday Tan! Can't wait for all the rest to come!

Spring is in the air

I am loving that Spring is on its way. I have been crazy busy with DYW and I feel like poor Breckyn is suffering for it. I am trying to get her some outside time since we have been cooped up all winter.  We are enjoying the long awaited sunshine. Even though I love helping with DYW, I am looking forward the down time  with my sweet baby girl!

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend. Heather and Tyler came up with their family and it was great to be together. Easter rolled around on a fast Sunday and Bishop Ure suggested that the Easter Bunny come Saturday morning to help not to detract from the Spirit and I think he will continue to do that, because I loved it that way. Breckyn wouldn't sit still for a picture by her basket but she got new church shoes and a little strolled for her doll. We also went in Saturday morning to the community Easter egg hunt. I was running behind as usual and got there after all the fun but there were still a few eggs lying around and Breckyn got to find them with her cousins. That afternoon we went over to Grandma Dayna's. She had put together a hunt for all the grandkids and had a surprise waiting for them at the end of the hunt. Breckyn's was the Bell and Beast set for her little people castle. She LOVED it! We enjoyed our Easter meal together that day since we have later church and it is easier for Heather's family to get home before dark. It was so fun to be all together and enjoy one another's company. We don't get to do it often enough.

We love when Aunt DeDe comes to visit!!

That weekend was also Marcus and Bridget's little boy Boston's blessing. Cory and Efrain came up to be apart of the special day. When there four get together it is definitely entertaining. I can't tell you how hard it was to get a good picture of all of them because they all just kept making each other laugh.
