6 month photo shoot

I took Breckyn back up to Katie Wells for her 6 month photos. She does such a great job! I recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer! Here are a few of my favorites...

Mother's Day 2012

I had a great Mother's Day. It was kind of weird that I actually got to celegrate it as a mother. Tanner bought me new running shoes to go along with my new goal of finally getting this baby weight off! We were going to go up to Blackfoot to visit my mom's family but we had had a crazy week and we decided to stay home, take nice naps and enjoy the beautiful weather as a family.

I have to take a minute and pay tribute to this wonderful woman. I honestly don't know what I would do without her. She is simply amazing! The week I had Breckyn she stayed with us and I don't know how I would have managed without her. She cooked meals, cleaned my whole house, stayed up with Breckyn while I slept and did my grocery shopping. I am so grateful for the wonderful example she is to me. She is one of the most Christ-like people I know. She serves all of the people around her and never puts herself first. I don't know what I would do without her so close to me. She is one of my best friends and I am so grateful for the grandmother she is to Breckyn. I love you mother dear! Happy Mother's Day!

Where did the last 6 months go?

I can't believe that Breckyn is 6 months! It is hard to believe that in 6 more months we will be celerating her first birthday. Honestly I don't know where the time has gone but I am loving every second of it. I took her for her check-up yesterday and everthing is looking good and she is definitely growing! She now weighs 17lbs. 12oz.(82%), she is 25 1/4"(32%), and her head is 17"(72%). I love watching her stats change with each check-up. Dr. Yost is so good with her. He loves her rolls but he cracked a joke and said if it is still that way when she is four then we will have a talk :)

I LOVE this face!

• She loves her saucer...as you can see from the picture above.
• She has loved every food she has tried.
• She can now roll both ways! We are really having to keep an extra eye on her these days.
• She loves to sit up.
• She smiles and laughs constantly.
• She still has blue eyes. We are beginning to wonder if they will stay or not.
• Ticklish all over!
• We still can't get enough of her!!

I had to share this picture. The other day I was cleaning her room and organizing. She was all over the place so I just put her in a crib for a few minutes. When I stood up I saw this. It made me laugh so hard. She was looking for me :)



Girls Trip to St. George

Last week I was able to get away from real life for a bit and have a girls trip down to sunny St. George with my mom and sisters. We enjoyed the sun and the pool and it was great! Breckyn loved the swimming pool this time around :) It was so great to getaway with these wonderful girls. I forget how much I miss my sisters when I get to spend that much time with them and then I have to say good-bye. We had great late night chats with popcorn and enjoyed lots and lots of laughter! I can't wait to do it again. Maybe Island Park or Park City next time :)
