Last week we were able to go on a quick vacation to Sacramento, California. Tanner's cousin Treg was getting married and Tanner was a groomsmen and we were glad that we had a reason to getaway for a few days! We left at midnight and drove through the night and I think it was the best because Breckyn slept the whole way. We (I) did a lot of shopping. Not even on myself. I think my new addictionis shopping for Breckyn. I am a sucker for Carter's clothing. I don't know what it is but I could spend forever in that store. We got to meet Jen's (Treg's now Wife) family the first night. They are such sweet people so welcoming and loving. We got to eat out at lots of great places. One of our favorite finds was a Mexican place called Sir Vesa's (So good!).
We got to tour the Jelly Belly factory. That was actually pretty neat.

They had tons of pictures of Ronald Reagan made out of Jelly Bellys. Apparently he loved them and insisted that the White House have them stocked at all times. Right as we started the tour Breckyn had a HUGE blow out. I couldn't leave the tour so we just stripped her and wrapped her in a blanket. Which she was totally fine with.

I wish I had a picture but we couldn't take pictures through the factory.

On Friday night we sort of had a "bachelor" party for Treg. We went to this place called RPM that had this go-carts that go 50 mph. Tanner was in heaven as were the rest of the guys. I enjoyed watching with Breckyn :)

Saturday was the BIG DAY! I love the Sacramento Temple. The church placed it perfectly so that you can't see the city below it and it looks like it is the only thing around for miles. The ceremony was so beautiful. It made me cry. I think I cried more at this wedding than at my own, but I think it just made me sentimental about my own wedding and now I have begun to understand the ceremony a little more and it makes me so happy to see people choose to be sealed for time and eternity.

The bride and groom looked amazing! Talk about a gorgeous couple!

The reception was so much fun. There was a fun dance and they even had a photo booth there. Tanner, Breckyn and I had a lot of fun with that. The food was AMAZING! Devonee and I grade weddings because we've been to so many. I would definitely give this one an A++! The most tender moment of all...Jen is a beautiful singer and she recorded a song for their first dance and suprised Treg. You can just guess that it made me cry again. We love Jen and we are so excited to officially have her has part of our family! Treg could not have picked anyone better.
